Living on the shores of the River Tay in Scotland, the view over the river has shaped my artistic sensibilities and provided the foundation of my interests as a landscape painter. 

Painting en-plein air gives immediacy and authenticity to my art, where I can record the changes of nature throughout the seasons through direct observation.
